PROFINET Switch Slim 8x RJ45 Helmholz 700-852-8PS01
With the FLEXtra FLAT PROFINET switch, managed 700-850-8PS01 from Helmholz, you can connect up to 8 network devices in a time- and cost-saving manner. One of the most important functions is the prioritisation of PROFINET telegram traffic within the machine network. The managed switch detects whether a telegram is a web request, an FTP file transfer, a media stream or a PROFINET telegram. When network utilisation is high, important PROFINET telegrams can thus be prioritised to prevent telegram loss. The switch can be easily integrated into the automation environment using a GSDML file. Furthermore, the PROFINET switch offers the option of diagnostics and configuration via a web interface, Telnet or SSH. PROFINET functions such as LLDP, DCP and diagnostic alarms are supported. In addition, the switch features media redundancy (MRP client), VLAN, SNMP, port mirroring, network statistics and PROFINET Conformance Class B.
