The SCALANCE XC216 managed Industrial Ethernet switch from Siemens enables the reliable networking of industrial Ethernet applications in star, line and ring topologies. The compact enclosure with IP20 protection rating is designed for use at ambient temperatures of -40... 70 °C. The switch features 16 Fast Ethernet ports with RJ45 connectors and 1 console port for diagnostic and configuration tasks, and supports data rates of 10/100 Mbit/s. The power supply is provided via 9.6...31.2 V DC. Comprehensive management functions such as VLAN, RSTP and port mirroring, as well as support for PROFINET and EtherNet/IP, enable flexible deployment in industrial networks. Integrated diagnostic functions and a C-PLUG slot simplify commissioning, maintenance and device replacement.
