Ethernet Cable Guard Helmholz 700-200-LAN01
The Ethernet Cable Guard 700-200-LAN01 enables the monitoring of the condition and service life of Ethernet data cables (100BASE-TX), particularly in dynamic applications such as drag chains, robots or cables subject to mechanical stress. The device is integrated into the data cable to be monitored and continuously assesses its transmission quality. The current cable condition can be transmitted to higher-level systems via LEDs, digital outputs or MQTT. Configuration is straightforward via an automatic teach-in process and a web interface. The advantages of the Ethernet Cable Guard 700-200-LAN01 include predictable maintenance through early wear detection, increased system availability, easy retrofitting into existing networks, and connection to IIoT applications via MQTT. Connection is via two RJ45 ports; the Power supply is 18 to 30 V DC.
